Using a Magnetic Power Generator to Create Simple, Cheap Electricity!

Friday, March 5th, 2010

A magnetic generator is the key to generating inexpensive power for your own house, so allow this article to describe this process for you. Take note of which elements allow the generation of electricity to be a possibility. Initially, you need to know that your generator needs to be powered up itself prior to generating any further electricity. The power of the magnets within the generator will also be a critical factor in the amount of power that is ultimately generated. These machines are also entirely free to use. You simply need to be able to start the machine up, initially. After this, you are unlimited in the amount of power you can generate for your house.

Your magnetic power generator operates by generating electricity. An essential part of how a magnetic power generator operates is understanding that magnetic poles which are alike will force each other away, while poles that are opposite to each other will be drawn together. These are the forces within the generator which cause it to be operational. Repelling forces will generate a pushing energy away from one another, and this creates magnetic power. Obviously, if these magnets contain a greater amount of force, they will repel each other more powerfully, and the magnetic power that is generated will be greater.

Generating inexpensive power in this manner is exceptionally simple. The power generated by this machine will continue perpetually, as long as these forces exist and both magnets are in place. Because of this, these methods are perpetual and constant in terms of creating power. The forces that attract and repel each other within the magnetic power generator will continue to generate energy, providing that there are magnets to generate these forces. This way, the magnetic generator will operate continuously and inexpensively, without involving any complicated systems whatsoever.

A magnetic generator is thought to be ‘inexpensive power’ because it is completely free to generate power using this machine, after an initial investment in supplies needed to construct the machine. You can be freed from the ever-growing power bills for your house. This kind of electricity also is not dependent upon unreliable wind power to create electricity, as are windmills. You’ll also never need to depend on sunlight to generate electricity, as you would with a system that uses solar panels. You will not generate an excessive amount of heat, and magnetic power creates an environment which is free from dirt and grime as well.

How to Build a Wind Turbine

Sunday, November 22nd, 2009

You’ve decided to learn how to build a wind turbine and now you need to find reliable wind generator plans. It’s not a difficult project either if you follow the instructions carefully.

What will you need to get started on this project?

· You need a place to work- basement, garage or shop works best

· Common tools available in most homes- wrenches, cordless drill etc.

· Detailed plans on how to build a wind turbine

· Some help with the project too

Those extra hands can be very helpful especially when you are putting together everything.

The first thing you need to do is order a DC motor capable of producing at least 1000 watts of power. The plans outline sources of motors to be used as your power generator. They can even be shipped directly to you. The cost is about $30 including the shipping.

That brings up an interesting point, how much does it cost to learn how to build a wind turbine?

The 1000w home wind machine can be built for under $150 total including the cost of the detailed plans. That’s pretty good considering a new model would cost over $3000 – a substantial savings. Why do they cost so much when parts are so readily available?

Get started while you are waiting for the motor/generator to arrive on building the rest of the machine.

We usually start with the blades. You will want to build your blades out of wood for machines of this size.

Matching blades to the DC motor is really the most complicated part of learning how to build a wind turbine.

To produce 1000 watts of power your blades need to be at least 4 feet long forming a total blade diameter of 8 foot spin.

It is this larger diameter that produces more power, one of the major contributing factors.

The larger the blades the larger the DC motor too, as outlined in detail in the plans.

It takes about a days work to make the blades. If you want to make a smaller machine you can use PVC pipe for blades too, but not for the larger ones.

The rest of the machine can be fashioned from recycled metals- the body and tail.

The plans showed us where to find used TV towers to use as a tower and even sources of free deep cycle batteries.

When your DC motor arrives all you have to do is assemble the parts and put it up.

It’s a real joy seeing those blades turn for the first time producing free electricity for your home. Isn’t it time you built your own. Let’s get started.

How To Build A Wind Turbine is the best place to start with this project, and learn how to save on your electricity bill by learning how to build a wind turbine of your own.

Our family has been living off the grid since last year, and loving every minute of it. Learning how to build a wind turbine has turned out to be one of the most important parts of our life.

Simple Wind Generator Instructions

Saturday, November 21st, 2009

Are you looking for simple wind generator instructions? Building a wind generator has turned out to be a great way for our family to produce power for our home, and we would like to share these simple wind generator instructions with you.

It took us about a week to build our first 1000w home wind power machine and we built it for under $150, just like the detailed plans we found said we could.

It wasn’t difficult either.

What do you need to get started?

· Regular tools that every home has in it- wrenches, saws, a vice etc.

· Simple wind generator instructions to follow

· A bit of space to do the work

· Find yourself a good helper too

I say find a helper because at times holding pieces to cut or assemble can be awkward by yourself.

Before we go too far, you should first order a DC motor that is used as your wind generator power source. The wind blows on the blades turning them, which in turn spins the DC motor creating an electrical current.

It is a simple direct system and the plans outline exactly which motor to buy and where to get it.

The most difficult part of learning how to build a wind generator is matching the blades to the motor. For small wind turbines you can use PVC blades up to 4 or 5 feet total blade diameter (2 foot individual blades).

Blade diameter or the total area that your blades spin determines how much power your machine will produce. The longer the blades, the more power.

If you want to produce at least 1000 watts of power you will need individual blades of 4 feet in length forming a total diameter of 8 feet.

This will catch a lot of wind and the blades should be made of wood for this size machine. Use clear straight spruce for the blades as it is strong and durable.

Some folks recommend PVC for all their blades but last spring we had a bad storm that broke one of our PVC blades, but left our wooden blades on our other machines intact. Your simple wind generator instructions should specify wooden blades for larger machines.

Towers can be quickly obtained as used TV towers are everywhere and work great. The plans even tell you where to find free Renewable Energy batteries that you can use for your home – several sources. You need good batteries to power your home.

When your DC motor comes (it can be shipped direct) just put together all of the parts you have obtained according to the plans- it’s pretty simple stuff once you understand it all.

The first time you see your own wind generator spinning and producing free power for your home you won’t be able to stop smiling. You built it yourself and it will produce free electricity for years to come.

Let’s get started.

Simple Wind Generator Instructions is the best place we have found to get started, you will find all you need and simple wind generator instructions to produce your own wind turbine to make your own free electricity right at home.

Finding simple wind generator instructions really helped us to achieve our goal of energy independence for our home producing our own free electricity.

Solar Power For Homes – Learn How to Make Your Home Environmentally Friendly

Friday, November 20th, 2009

Using solar power for homes seems as though it would be an inexpensive and safe way to go. There are several pros and cons when one considers using solar power. This article will cover the basic information that you need to know about residential solar power.

When the word “Solar Power” is heard, people today think of solar cell panels. Although the first solar power cell was made with gold and selenium, it was much more inefficient than the silicon solar power cells of today.

Solar cells are made of two layers (a positive side and a negative side), when they are placed on top of each other they create an electric field, the same way a magnet does. However, the cost of installing these solar panels to heat your home is very expensive, in that it is not just the cost of the panels but there has to be other components purchased in order to make a solar powered home work. When you consider the parts such as, inverters, controls, safety devices, timers, wires, cables, switches, relays, and connectors that have to make the over all product work. Using solar power for homes is very different from powering a calculator or a wrist watch.

If you live in an area that has trouble with power outages or blackouts then it is normal to look toward solar power for an alternate means of electricity. This would make the high cost of the installation of solar power for homes worthwhile, since the energy that is saved from the solar panels will pay for themselves after a few years.

Using such green energy from the sun, means that it is a clean and renewable energy source. There are many solar powered items on the market that can also help in your endeavor to change to solar power, items such as, solar lamps, water heaters, lanterns, and security lights. DIY solar panel are used mostly for heating water, and consists of a flat structure with copper tubes which allow water to flow through, and an aluminum plate under a thin glass reflects sunlight and absorbs the energy produced by the sun. Like a large magnifying glass, when held a distance from the sun and a specific source will create a fire, the glass and the aluminum cause heat to pass through the copper tubes and heats the water, thus the larger the DIY panel the more volume of water you will have.

Today you can even buy an air conditioner that is powered by solar cells during sunny days and at night you can run it from the backup batteries, which are recharged the next day.

The development of solar technology has now discovered ways to use the infrared rays of the sun’s energy, so that now it doesn’t even have to be a sunny day to activate the solar power for homes. With a little more development we will son be able to use over 30% more power from the infrared rays, which is a tremendous boost from the 6% that we now use.

The decision to go all or even partial solar power for your home is one that only you and your family can answer. Yes it is expensive to be installed but the money you will save in the long run is really worth transferring to solar power for homes.
