Using the Basics of Feng Shui to Improve Your Life
If you feel the need to make changes within your life and are considering using The Basics of Feng Shui to make that change, then you have made a very sensible decision. The best thing about it is that it requires no equipment or a great amount of expertise in order to gain great benefits from its use.
Many people go about their day to day living and never consider exactly how much their environment plays an influential role within their life. If you seem to be caught up in a rut at home, without even knowing why, it could be clutter bringing negative forces into your life. Clutter is like a dark magnet which draws negative energy from all corners into our homes. Ionic air purifiers are a great choice because they run very quietly and will not interfere where silence is necessary. Certain types of plants can also be used to add substantially to the pleasantness of the air.
When you begin studying the ancient art, you’ll also learn about the Ba-Gua, which is basically a feng shui map. The Ba-Gua is an energy map which is used to decide how all the items will reside within the room and which elements will be used. It is especially useful when working toward a specific purpose because the varying parts of the energy map will relate to different parts of life. By manipulating the energy flow, the likelihood of money or love can be increased.
Practitioners of feng shui theory will use five elements which help to balance out the environment. Water, Fire, Wood, Earth and Metal objects are used to produce desired outcomes. Each of these five elements have their own characteristics and play a vital role of energy for within the area.
The Chinese are well known for having their own zodiac which is based upon 12 animals which repeat every 12 years. They use these zodiac signs to give astrological readings about each individual born under each sign.
Along with the animals of the zodiac, the five elements are also represented and assigned to each year. So not only can an individual be born under the sign of the Dragon, they can also be born under the element of Wood. It is important to use birth elements when using The Basics of Feng Shui design.
